Willow House is s a non-profit, social service organization whose sole mission is to support children, families, schools and communities who are coping with grief and the death of a loved on 

 Canines 4 Comfort is a 501(c)3 organization established to satisfy the growing need for Psychiatric Service Dogs and Emotional Support Animals among veterans, children, and others afflicted with emotional and trauma syndromes.   

606 Academy is a Marine Corps Veteran owned and operated basketball training company that provides afterschool enrichment, basketball camps and clinics geared towards developing a growth mindset and accepting responsibility.

Before we teach any basketball, we build an inclusive atmosphere where students feel safe, supported and welcome adversity. It is our goal to build supportive communities through basketball that challenges and fosters growth for all. This aim is the cornerstone of our training company, basketball is the second.

606 Academy is offering a 3 on 3 Co-Ed Basketball Clinics for grades K-8th Grade. The 3 on 3 begins September 10th with evaluations and officially begins September 16th.  

606 Academy will be donating 10% of all profits from the 3 on 3 Co-Ed Basketball League back to The Penny’s Purpose.

 Every year hundreds of children go without proper clothing.  Caring for Kids Clothing is a non-profit organization that helps provide these children with the clothing they so desperately need.  Since our beginning in 2010 Caring for Kid has helped outfit hundreds of children every year.  We provide an immediate need in warm winter gear, school uniforms, everyday clothing, gym shoes, snow boots, socks, under garments and so much more. 

​ Please get involved today by contacting us to sponsor a child in need. You will get an information packet on your child telling you about their needs, favorite colors and special likes. You can make a new clothing donation, typical clothing donations per child have included navy blue or white school uniform: sweaters, shirts and pants, socks, underwear, coat, boots, hat and gloves.

Monetary donations are welcome and much needed to keep C4K alive. Your donation will go towards the children that do not have a personal sponsor. For your convenience we even have a PayPal link to make donating easier!

Goods and services donations are especially welcome as we hold several fundraisers each season and can always make use of raffle prizes and silent auction items. You can make a difference in a child’s life; even the smallest donation can make a difference! 

One Hope United’s residential care programs provide a range of quality services to children and youth as well as to their families and guardians involved with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Children entering residential care are often traumatized or in crisis. We provide mental health services and tailor a treatment plan to fulfill the specific needs of each individual.


Our programs help youth develop social skills, build trust and form relationships, with the ultimate goal being for youth to return to a family setting, or to prepare them for adulthood by helping them achieve self-sufficiency, educational goals, and financial stability. One Hope United has residential facilities in northern and central Illinois. 


The blankets donated from Penny's Purpose to One Hope United will be used for the boys that reside at Lake Villa as part of the C.A.R.E. – Residential Treatment program. These boys range in age from 9 years old to 18 years old.
