The Penny's Purpose Seventh Annual Blanket Drive

Since our first blanket drive in 2019, The Penny’s Purpose has collected more than 12,500 blankets to provide warmth and comfort to individuals, families, and pets in need throughout Lake County, Illinois and Kenosha County, Wisconsin.

This year’s drive continues that tradition by collecting new, handmade, and gently used blankets to share with those in need during the cold winter months.

How to Help
Drop off your blanket donations at any of our participating locations listed on the flyer below.

Gently used blankets should be freshly laundered and free from tears, holes, and stains.

Where the Blankets Go
All collected blankets will be distributed to local organizations that support those facing medical, financial, or personal hardships this winter, including:
