When: November 1st - December 15th
Where: Drop-off locations throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, including The Penny's Purpose, located at 965 Main St. (rear entrance). See our flyer for all locations!
Why: Join us in sharing warmth and comfort across Illinois and Wisconsin by donating blankets and sleeping bags for individuals and families in need.
Blanket Requirements:
- New, handmade, or gently used blankets: All types are welcome, including fleece, knit, and quilted blankets.
- Gently used blankets: Should be freshly laundered and free from stains, tears, or holes.
- New or gently used sleeping bags: We also accept clean, gently used sleeping bags to provide warmth in colder conditions.
This year, the blankets we collect will support:
A range of local organizations, including PADS of Lake County, Kids' Korner (Lake County Courthouse), The Sharing Center, Love, Inc., Caring 4 Kids Clothing for Kids, Reach Rescue, Our Turn Pet Center, ELCA Outreach Center in Kenosha, The Grove at the Lake, Willow House, Canines 4 Comfort, and the Antioch and Lindenhurst "Shop with Cops" programs.

Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve collected over 10,000 blankets, helping us reach even more people in need.
